Notary Services
Tex. Gov’t. Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public, or their employer, may charge for notary public services. In addition, § 406.111 sets out the fee of an online notarization. All services (except remote notarization) delivered by Right Away Notary will incur a travel charge, which is separate from Texas notary fees. The table below list each notarial act and the state fee.
Fees:
- Taking acknowledgments or proofs for the first signature – $6
- For each additional signature – $1
- Administering oath or affirmation – $6
- Swearing a witness for a deposition
- Jurat $6
- Deposition of witness – $0.50 per 100 words
- Certifying a photocopy – $6
- Copy of a record or paper kept in the Notary’s office: $0.50 per page Protesting for nonacceptance or nonpayment, register and seal, $4; each notice of protest, $1; certificate and seal to a protest, $4; protesting in all other cases, $4.

Traveling Fees:
- Travel Charge for mobile Notary service: Starting $35 – 5 mile radius and $1 per mile after
- Minimum travel fee for detention centers: $125
Other Fees and Services:
- Waiting Fee – $25 per 15 minutes
- Client Refusal to sign or no show – 100% of fee
- Document Delivery – $65 minimum for first 15 miles and $1 per mile after
- Printing and shipping – starting at $55
- Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living Community (due to additional time required for parking and time to and from room to parking) – $35
- After hours (after 6:00 PM) or early hours (before 7:00 AM), Holidays – Starting at $65
- Emergency – call for pricing
You are liable for the travel/time fee as agreed when booking your appointment. Deposit required on all bookings which is the cost of entire trip charge.
